For Ubuntu, Debian, Linux Mint and similar.
Open it with your software installer, or run
sudo apt install
./<file>.deb.
For other distributions. Unzip anywhere and
run media-alignment-tool from
the folder — nothing to install.
.exe and
.dmg above usually work without help.
If your computer blocks installing apps yourself,
ask IT to install the .msi (Windows) or
.pkg (macOS) for you — these are the
formats their management tools expect.
